About Sky Aviation
Sky Aviation was established as an Air Charter service a few years ago with a fleet of two Cirrus aircraft. Throughout a Management change in 2010, SKY Aviation is now expanding its services as a scheduled airline. This in view of Indonesia being one of the largest growth areas for scheduled flights in the region.
In 2010 Sky Aviation acquired a Cessna Grand Caravan to service scheduled flights between Surabaya, Banyuwangi and Denpasar. These routes were officially launched in Banyuwangi on December 29th 2010.
In first quarter 2011 Sky acquired regional turbo props as new type of fleet. Best regional turbo props based on our study is Fokker 50. Three Fokker 50 aircaft were added to the Sky. Like the Cessna Grand Caravan, our Fokker fleet are now servicing in scheduled route in Indonesia.
Sky Aviation has ordered 12 Sukhoi Superjet 100 that scheduled to be in service at the second semester of 2012. Sky Aviation also ordered Sky Lander SK 105 to complete the variation of Sky Aviation fleet.
