As follow of up from previous commitment signed in Heads of Agreement (HOA) on July at Le Bourget Airshow, France, between PT Sky Aviation and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC). On 16th of August 2011 PT Sky Aviation signed purchase agreement of 12 unit Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) from SCAC.

The contract agreement signed by Vladimir Prisyazhnyuk as President of SCAC as well as Yusuf Ardhi as Commissioner of PT Sky Aviation and Krisman Tarigan as CEO of PT Sky Aviation. The purchase agreement signed at MAKS Air Show 2011 in Zhukovsky town not far from Moscow, Russia.
Also attending the sign of purchase agreement is Mr. Herry Bakti, General Diretor of Air Transportation from the Ministry of Transportation of Indonesia Republic. This is a form of support from Indonesia Government to PT Sky Aviation.
The purchase of 12 SSJ 100 aircraft would strengthen PT Sky Aviation air fleet in order to serve new routes in Indonesia. The First Aircraft of SSJ 100 with 87 and 98 seat capacity scheduled to arrive at Indonesia in August 2012. Sky Aviation is the first user of SSJ 100 aircraft in Asia Pacific.
In the same event Sky Aviation and SJI (Super Jet International) signed MOU to ensure the spare parts availability in order to guarantee the reliability and safety of SSJ 100 fleet.

About Sukhoi Superjet 100
The Sukhoi Superjet 100 (Russian: Сухой Суперджет 100) first flight was on May 2008. In February 2011, SSJ 100 the plane received its Type Certification from Russia authority and received certification from European Aviation Safety Agency soon.
SSJ 100 Aircraft has the ability to fly with maximum speed of 0.81 Mach and reach 40.000 feet height. SSJ 100 can be operated in airport with short runway 1.731 meter.
